HIDE Burger Bar and Bistro

I have been here a few times and have always loved the food and the selection of beers they have. The quality of the burgers is very good and you always get a decent amount of fries. Unfortunately the service is very slow, from taking the order to bringing each course of the meal. I would recommend for the burgers to everyone but be prepared to wait.

This is the best burger place in Derby. Me and my sister came here a good 4 years ago and we go out of way from Burton to come here. The burgers are unreal, so so tasty, amazing quality and there's always a special every week. Such a cute designed place too. You can really tell the staff have passion behind their food and dedicate a lot of time to make people happy! Portion sizes are so generous, you're left so full!

As you would expect it's a great place for a burger... It's more than that though, it's modern, light and airy. Good and interesting choice of beers including some Craft ales. The coffee is lovely and in the daytime it's a good place to people-watch with the busy market place a stone's throw away. Enjoy. M

No word of a lie this is the best burger I've had. Period. Their menu is simple yet effective, showing that really a burger bar can be successful with a menu that, whilst small, offers absolute perfection in terms of quality. Their portion sizes are spot on, offering up a good sized burger in brioche with a portion of skin on home made fries. Upgrade to their fired fries for a smidgen more and you've got the best Cajun spiced fries I've ever tasted. Their selection of sides is fantastic, again offering substantial portions versus cost. Overall the price is steeper than some competitors versus size, but frankly HIDE burger bar deliver the level of quality far above that of other burger bars in derby. I highly recommend booking, as the bar is small and has a great atmosphere, and is generally busy even midweek. A must try if you are in the area!

Fantastic food! Good prices. Great, genuine hospitality. (We didn't tell them it was my birthday but they noticed I had a present and cards, and brought my dessert out with a candle and several staff wished me a happy birthday). Lovely little place, will definitely be back!
