Hungrilla Gourmet Grill - Kirkby in Ashfield

Always liked the food here but I paid £9 for a meal and it did not come with a drink.. Good to see a place like this in a small village though Everything is well presented and get a restaurant feeling when your inside. A lot of time and effort has gone into here. Burger was a decent size and the chips portion was a bit over the top to be honest. Went for the BBQ chicken burger and noticed straight away they used their own unique BBQ sauce... where as many would use just a basic sauce you can get from shops. Very smokey and tasty and sweet at the same time. Loved it

We've been ordering takeaway from here for a while now, the burgers are delicious and the quality is pretty good for around £10 a head. However, don't bother ordering the sides. The first time we ordered the buttermilk chicken bites they were delicious, but the second time we just received chicken nuggets. Tonight we ordered the hash browns and despite the image on the website showing 4, we received 2, and when we questioned this Hungrilla said their portion size is 2, which feels really misleading. I wouldn't have ordered it if I knew I was paying £2.80 for 2!

No complaints - Had 2 x Cheese burger today, I don't like BBQ sauce so they were more than happy to swap it for tomato. A good texture and taste to the burger, some places over season with lots of black pepper, or grind the meat so fine it's like paste with a horrible mouth texture, these are just how I like a burger, not too thick, not too thin and have a good bite texture to them, the flame grill adds a nice flavour - all in a brioche bun with salad, and they come with a big bag of seasoned fries which taste amazing. We couldn't finish all the fries so took what was left home for a snack. I know a lot of people commented that the last thing our town needed was another fast food place but this is offering something a bit different to most other places, I think it's great value and we certainly didn't leave hungry. The staff could not have been friendlier, it was cooked and served quickly and everywhere was very clean. A thumbs up from us, a very enjoyable visit.

Great place although I was there only once, so I cannot comment on reliability. Steak Burger was great, patty was done to my liking, still juicy but not pink inside. Huge portion of chips, which were crispy outside and soft inside, with good seasoning (maybe tad too much). All well presented. There are some other, interesting positions in the menu I'll try next time. Place itself is clean, maybe looking bit empty, but that's not a main selling point anyway.

The most INCREDIBLE burgers, friendliest staff we’ve ever experienced and amazing value for the quality! Can’t recommend highly enough!! You will leave happy, full and planning your next visit!! :)
