Great independent burger 🍔 place. The burgers are very tasty and better than any chain. Staff are very friendly and helpful. A great addition to Ilkeston. Go support these guys they are well worth a visit. They have good value meal deals too. Pics were taken at night and don't do justice to such great burgers.

Best burgers for 10 to 20 miles. There are a lot of "gourmet and hand made burger" shops popping up but this place is the best by far. Home made skin on fries. Proper smashed patties that are juicy, cracked at the edges and slightly crisp(caramelised)in all the right places. When you're in the shop you will see the pride and love that goes in to these burgers. If you've never tried this place and even live from further away you won't regret trying this place.

Heard the hype, decided to order. Slightly worried by the box sized the burger came in.. However kudos to entirely recyclable packaging. UberEats as usual, delivered stone cold. Burger had flavour, however it was by no means spicy, ghost chilli? Not even remotely. The meat was very thin, like a McDonald's hamburger thickness, and you got 2 patties... The price? Not worth it, not even remotely - if they doubled the burger thickness then maybe, maybe. They're charging Five Guys prices but giving McD portions. The "skin on fries' looked homemade, but they were stale, felt reheated.. But that could just be how long they were sat waiting for uber.. Our usual burger place has way thicker, bigger burgers and they're much cheaper too... We're talking £17 vs the £26 we spent at Jays.. Both 30% off. The kids meal was £5.95 with no drink.. Not impressive.

Spot on with there quality of burgers each & every time. Always coming up with new specials, along side there regular variety of burgers. Easily the best place for burgers in Ilkeston & the surrounding area.

Photo doesn't do this place justice, the food is exceptional! Really tasty burger and great lunchtime deal. Only thing that could do better is more selections for the deal. Best burger joint in ilkeston in my eyes
